Clematis montana 'Freda'
A climbing garden perennial producing masses of small cherry-pink, very fragrant flowers on lovely bronze foliage, from late spring to early summer. Brightens up walls and fences.
Plant Care
Easy to grow in any average, well drained garden soil, but avoid wet areas. Keep roots in shade if possible. Pruning group 1.

Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather.
