Clematis montana 'Dark Chocolate Truffle'
A newly introduced variety with chocolate coloured foliage forming the backdrop for unusual, cream coloured flowers with rose-pink margins. An early flowering, vigorous, deciduous climber.
Plant Care
Easy to grow in any average, well drained garden soil, but avoid wet areas. Keep roots in shade if possible. Pruning group 1. Feed in spring with a general fertiliser.

Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather.
