Sedum 'Gold Mound'

Gold Mound' is a great introduction from New Zealand, with vigorous and vibrant, golden green succulent foliage and starry yellow flowers in the spring months. The best colour is achieved in full sun for most of the day, but it will tolerate light shade. Excellent plant for containers where it can cascade down the sides. Ideal for mixing with other foliage and flowering plants to create a novelty.

Plant Care

Keep well watered until firmly established. Plant into any good garden soil, avoiding wet areas. Trim off old flower heads and to shape and size required in spring to encourage strong, colourful growth.

Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather. Feed in spring with a good, general fertiliser.
