Sedum Sunsparkler 'Firecracker' PBR EU 43679

This neat 'Stonecrop' is perfect for planting in mixed borders, rockeries, or patio containers. Deep burgundy leaves cloak the spreading stems, which, in turn, hold clusters of bright pink, star shaped flowers over a long period. This plant will lose some leaves in winter to flourish again in spring.

Plant Care

Keep well watered until firmly established. Plant into any good garden soil, avoiding wet areas. Trim off old flower heads and to shape and size required in spring to encourage new growth.

Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather. Feed in spring with a good, general fertiliser.
