RHS Plants for Pollinators

Sedum takesimense 'Atlantis' ('Nonsitnal') (v)

This Chelsea award winning 'Takeshima Stonecrop' produces rosettes of green and creamy margined foliage, topped in autumn with yellow flowers, attracting many hungry, late season pollinators. Its compact, ground cover habit is perfect for containers. This plant will die down to ground level in winter to regrow in spring.

Plant Care

Keep well watered until firmly established. Plant into any good garden soil, avoiding wet areas. Feed in spring with a good general fertiliser. Trim to size and shape in spring, removing all spent flowers.

Height/Width

Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather. Feed in spring with a good, general fertiliser.
