RHS Plants for Pollinators

Gaura lindheimeri 'Passionate Rainbow'

This is an excellent variety, outperforming older Gauras in several ways. It has a different flowering habit, many more deep-pink, silky flowers from its tips and side shoots, instead of at the ends of long wispy stems, giving an even more impressive display of flowers. It is more upright, denser and compact, looking neat even in winter. The leaves are a soft, grey-green, strongly marked with cream and flushed over with pale to cherry-pink shades, especially in the shoot tips and flower spikes. It will bloom continuously through summer and autumn.

Plant Care

Keep well watered until firmly established, feed with a good liquid fertiliser every two weeks in the flowering season.
