Alstroemeria 'Silvester'
This stunning, newly introduced variety of 'Peruvian Lily' has tall stems holding clusters of white flowers, with splashes of creamy yellow and dark flecks, drawing in the eye. Perfect for patio containers. A hardy plant, but may need some protection from extreme cold. This plant dies down in winter to regrow in spring.
Plant Care
Keep well watered until firmly established. Plant into any good garden soil, avoiding wet areas. The removal of spent flower stems will encourage more flowering.

Height/Width
Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather. Feed in spring with a good, general fertiliser.
